We partnered with the village of Nuevas Delicias and El Cedral to build a school and to add on to an existing school, doubling the size and capacity of the building. A new school is in El Cedral was completed in 2012. We helped to rehab their old school to be used as a pre-school/ kindergarten, completed in 2013. We partnered with Santa Barbara Rotary of Honduras and the people El Ecantadito to build the most recently dedicated school in this village, which was completed in 2013. A casita was completed for the teacher in 2015. We continue to work with Rotary on educational projects.

We help 30 to 40 primary school children with scholarships to attend 1st through 6th grades. This usually includes uniforms, books, and transportation.

Literacy Book Drive

We delivered 300 books in Spanish in 2014. Most of these will be used at the Amigos de Jesus home.

Home for impoverished children in Honduras.  It is a safe haven, their school, playground, bedroom, chapel and above all, their family. The school now houses over 85 children and hopes to reach a capacity of 180.  We first visited this beautiful community in 2013 and have participated in several projects since that time. The medical team going to Honduras in May of 2017 will be the fifth we have sent there.  We participated in a construction project in June of 2015 with high school students from Summit High School. We hope to continue and nurture this relationship into the future. Visit for more information.
