Newest school campus in Valle Verde
Schools
In the past 15 years we have renovated 4 schools and built 6 schools. We have also completed smaller school projects such as building “banos.” Most recently we partnered with International Hope Builders to build an entire campus in Valle Verde consisting of a preschool, primary school, high school, library, as well as a teacher’s casita and community center. International Hope Builders is an Arvada, CO based non profit working in Honduras that uses the Lazarian World Home building system of construction.

Scholarships & Other Support
Samuel, a teacher in Valle Verde, is the director of our scholarship program. We currently support over 100 students from many villages, purchasing uniforms, books, and school supplies all required by the government to attend school. Many in the villagers are unable to afford these items for their children. We also continue to provide materials to the teachers of all the schools Summit in Honduras has been involved with. In our latest school project we have included a library and are collecting books written in Spanish to fill it. Rarely do our village children have books to read.
